Great Ocean Walk | Victoria - 2025
24 wonderful supporters meandered this stunning stretch of Victoria’s coast, starting at Johanna Beach and finishing at the iconic 12 Apostles. Together we raised over $24000 towards essential funds for the operational expenses of The Inuka Tusonge vocational centre for women in Tanzania. Thank you to all our supporters and their communities who made this incredible effort possible.

Six Foot Track | Blue Mountains - 2024
On Saturday 19 October 2024, 23 amazing supporters embarked on an overnight hike of the best sections of the Six Foot Track with the support of Emu Trekkers. Dining together in Katoomba on Friday night enjoying a joyous meal of wood fired pizza’s kicked off the weekend. The hike didn’t disappoint, complimented with a scrumptious dinner of Kangaroo Stew, many laughs and fantastic hospitality by our hosts at the Six Foot Track Eco Lodge. Together we raised over $16,000 towards our programs in Tanzania.

Barigar Trail | Grampians - 2023
On Saturday 11 November 2023, 16 amazing supporters embarked on an overnight hike of the 16km Barigar Trail in the Grampians National Park. It was a heart warming experience raising over $11,000 towards our programs in Tanzania. A special Thank you to everyone who donated.

Wilson’s Promontory - 2022
On the 6th of November 2022, 9 amazing supporters did an overnight hike in Victoria’s spectacular Wilsons Promontory National Park. It was, as always, a heart warming experience raising just over $8000 for our programmes in Tanzania.

Mt Bogong - 2021
On the 20th of November 2021, emerging from Victoria’s 6th lockdown and with limited opportunity to train and prepare, 15 amazing people committed to hike the 21.4km Staircase Spur up Mt Bogong and raised over $17,000 to support the ongoing operating costs of the Inuka Tusonge vocational centre.

Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel - 2025
A wonderful night of Afro Beats and great company.
Our inaugural Gala Fundraising Dinner was held at the beautiful Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel. It was a warm and joyful evening, and together we raised over over $9000. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our donors, bidders and all our supporters who made this possible.

Trivia Night - 2023
On 22 July 2023 family & friends travelled from near and far to join Kathy and Alex Hofmann for a Trivia Night fundraiser in Newport, Sydney. A special thanks to Newport Surf Club who kindly donated the premises. The night raised just over $9000 towards our programs in Tanzania. Thank you to Kathy & Alex’s family and friends and all the businesses that donated to help make this possible.

Trivia Night - 2022
On Saturday 25 June 2022 family, friends, friends of friends and new friends travelled from near and far to join Kathy and Alex Hofmann for a Trivia Night fundraiser in Newport, Sydney. The night was not only a lot of fun but also a huge success, raising over A$11,000. We were completely overwhelmed by the generosity, open-heartedness and spirit of giving that everyone encountered while gathering together the contributions from so many local businesses who sponsored this event, donated prizes for raffles and silent auctions, and floored us with your support for Nina Imani.
